Miranda Lambert’s Stagecoach performance on Saturday night was an electrifying affair filled with unexpected moments and powerhouse performances. As the fireworks illuminated the night sky during her rendition of “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home),” it seemed like the show was coming to a close. However, Lambert had one more surprise up her sleeve.
Emerging back onstage after the fireworks display, Lambert coyly introduced a special guest from her home state of Oklahoma: none other than country legend Reba McEntire. Their collaboration ignited a fiery three-song encore that left the audience in awe. Lambert’s fierce hits like “Mama’s Broken Heart” and “Gunpowder & Lead” seamlessly blended with McEntire’s iconic rendition of “Fancy,” creating an unforgettable musical experience.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, including high winds and dust, Lambert and McEntire delivered stellar performances that showcased their vocal prowess and stage presence. McEntire, in particular, seemed to relish the opportunity to add her signature flair to Lambert’s revenge-themed songs, infusing them with her own brand of attitude and sass.
In addition to the exhilarating encore, Lambert treated fans to the live debut of her new song “Wranglers,” a track filled with raw emotion and grit. Set to release on May 3, “Wranglers” marks Lambert’s first release since signing with Republic Records in partnership with Nashville indie Big Loud.
For Lambert, headlining Stagecoach for the first time since 2015 was a triumphant return, leaving a lasting impression on fans and critics alike. Meanwhile, McEntire’s appearance at Stagecoach comes ahead of her hosting duties at the 2024 ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live from Frisco, Texas on May 11.
