Rock legend Robert Plant stunned fans in Aberdeen when he made a surprise appearance at a local pub’s open-mic night after his concert.
The 74-year-old Led Zeppelin frontman had just finished performing with his band, Saving Grace, at the Tivoli Theatre when he unexpectedly dropped by Under the Hammer, a popular local venue.
Excited pubgoers couldn’t believe their luck as Plant took the stage, turning an ordinary night into an unforgettable rock moment. Fans quickly took to social media, calling it the “coolest thing to happen in Aberdeen.”
The bar’s owners were thrilled, sharing on Facebook that they were “honored” to have Plant and Saving Grace perform. Open mic host Jamie Rodden praised Plant for supporting the local musicians, not just stealing the spotlight.
Robert Plant continues to prove why he’s a rock legend—both on and off the big stage.
