Post Malone and Blake Shelton made waves at CMA Fest in Nashville last night with not one, but two performances of their upcoming collaboration, tentatively titled “Pour Me a Drink.”
Post Malone surprised fans at Nissan Stadium with a solo rendition of his track with Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help.” Following this, he teased details about his forthcoming country album before welcoming Shelton to the stage.
At Nissan Stadium, Malone and Shelton, backed by a full band, showcased the song’s robust, stadium-ready country-rock foundation. Later that evening, they delivered a stripped-down, acoustic rendition at Shelton’s Ole Red bar, renamed Spotify House for CMA Fest.
Post Malone gave fans a taste of “Pour Me a Drink” a few weeks back on Instagram, sharing a video of himself listening to the song and even doing some air-drumming. However, the official release date for the single remains unknown.
“Pour Me a Drink” would be the second track from Post Malone’s eagerly anticipated country album, slated for release this year. His debut single, “I Had Some Help” with Wallen, topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts last month.
