Paul McCartney Surprises Fans with Live Performance at Talkhouse Bar!

Even at 82, Paul McCartney proves he’s still got the magic!

The legendary Beatle shocked fans at Stephen Talkhouse, a cozy venue in Amagansett, New York, by jumping on stage for an unexpected performance. On August 20, what started as a scheduled set featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, producer Andrew Watt, and guitarist G.E. Smith turned into an unforgettable moment when McCartney joined in.

Dressed casually in jeans and a sweatshirt, McCartney delivered a high-energy rendition of The Beatles’ 1963 hit *I Saw Her Standing There*, a song he co-wrote with John Lennon. Videos from the night show him laughing, grabbing Watt’s shoulder, and completely owning the stage under a spinning disco ball.

Producer Andrew Watt shared his excitement on Instagram, writing, *“So last night @chadsmithofficial and I burned the @talkhousebar to the ground and then @paulmccartney desecrated the place… dream-like sequence.”* Musicians like Mark McGrath and Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers were just as amazed, calling the moment “insane” and “f—ing rad.”

Photographer Ryan Sherman captured the epic scene, describing how the crowd was left in awe as McCartney “jumped on stage.” And in true rockstar fashion, McCartney ended the performance by dropping the mic like a rap battle champion before casually walking off.

It was a night no one at Talkhouse will ever forget! 🎸🔥
