Johnny Depp Joins Alice Cooper in a Heartfelt Tribute to Ozzy Osbourne at London Show

On Friday night at London’s O2 Arena, fans got an unforgettable surprise when Johnny Depp took the stage alongside rock legend Alice Cooper to honor the late Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy, often called the Prince of Darkness, passed away earlier this week at 76, just weeks after his final Black Sabbath performance. His family confirmed the sad news, leaving the rock world in mourning.

Depp, the Hollywood star and musician, joined Cooper for a powerful tribute, playing guitar as they rocked out to Black Sabbath’s iconic song, Paranoid. The crowd went wild when Cooper shouted, “Let’s hear it for Ozzy!” and the duo delivered an electrifying performance in his memory.

Earlier in the week, Cooper had already dedicated his Cardiff show to Ozzy. Speaking to the crowd, he said, “We all know time catches up with us rockers, but when giants like Ozzy fall, it hits hard. Even though we expected it, it still took our breath away.”

He continued with heartfelt words: “Ozzy’s music, his spirit, and the humor he brought to rock will live on forever. We’re going to miss you, man.”

Cooper and his band also shared a moving message: “The whole world is mourning Ozzy tonight. He was respected by fans and fellow musicians alike as a true showman and cultural icon. To us, he was both the Prince of Darkness on stage and the family’s court jester off stage.”

“We’re all part of the rock ’n’ roll family, and losing one of our own cuts deep. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and the whole Osbourne family—our hearts are with you. Though a giant has fallen, rock will roll on.”

Cooper dedicated his Cardiff show to 'legend' Ozzy as shared an emotional tribute to one of rock n roll's 'giants' (Alice seen with Sharon and Ozzy in 2007)

In a touching Instagram post, Cooper signed off with: “Rest easy, Ozzy. We’ll see you on the other side! – Alice, Sheryl, Chuck, Ryan, Tommy, Nita, Glen, and our entire crew.”

The MailOnline shared that paramedics fought to save Ozzy’s life for two hours at his sprawling countryside home. Close friends revealed that his wife Sharon, heartbroken and frail, may choose a private family funeral in their estate’s gardens rather than a large public service.

At the other end of London, Liam and Noel Gallagher paid homage to Ozzy at night one of Oasis gigs at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday

Meanwhile, over in London, Oasis legends Liam and Noel Gallagher paid their respects during their concert at Wembley Stadium. As they performed Rock ’N’ Roll Star, Liam dedicated the song to Ozzy, with a massive image of the late rocker projected behind them.

Liam told the crowd, “I want to dedicate this next one to Ozzy Osbourne, Rock ’N’ Roll Star.”
